SMB Telecommuting on the Rise

Information Week reports on new findings regarding the increase in telecommuting in small and mid-sized businesses (SMBs):

The Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA) has found that companies with 500 or less employees are relying more and more on telecommuters. Nearly three out of four SMBs have at least one or more employees telecommuting, according to research CompTIA released this week.

On average, 7% of the SMB workforce stays home one or more days a week and 90% of SMBs reported that one or more employees travel on business at least one day a week, according to the research done by AMI-Partners.
